Vera has learned to roll over from her back to her belly! She just mastered this yesterday at my cousin's house, and now she's done it several times today. I guess she's mobile! I think it actually might not be that bad (I won't be chasing her down the hall quite yet), because once she's on her tummy, she's kinda stuck. That's right, my silly girl has learned back-to-tummy before tummy-to-back (for those of you who don't know, that's kinda backwards). So she gets on her tummy, and she's not able to keep going. She gets pretty frustrated, actually... she really likes moving now, and being stationary on her tum is just no good. Maybe that'll motivate her to figure out how to roll on to her back again! (she actually did tummy-to-back once, about a month ago, and never did it again... must've been a fluke)
woweeeee! i had a feeling that she would just want to keep practicing and practicing that move! how exciting. i am so glad i was there to see the big event! xoxoxox
Go Vera! Ewan did the same thing - some fluke tummy to back rolls, then he really got down the back to tummy around the same age as Vera is now, then shortly thereafter he got the hang of the intentional tummy to back roll. Crazy backwards babies.

i love the final push. it's this moment of hesitation right before she fully turns...so cool.
