One of the great things about the area of Connecticut that we've moved to is that we're about 20 minutes away from our alma mater, Wesleyan University, and all the nostalgic activities it has to offer! Last night we went bowling at Bowl-O-Rama, which was a staple activity for any wes student - free shoe rental with a student ID! Today we went to Lyman Orchards to "pick your own" fruit. It was a beautiful day! We arrived at the hilltop orchards only to discover that we had $9 cash between the two of us. We figured we'd have to pace ourselves, and then maybe make a trip to the ATM, but low and behold, 8 apples, 6 peaches, 3 pears, and a basket of raspberries later, we still had $1 left! Wowee! Here are some pics; unfortunately, they're from my cell phone, so the focus, color and quality are so-so.
