Fun at the playground

A few weeks ago, on one of those warmer days, we took Vera to a local playground. It is called "PAK" - Playground for All Kids; the equipment is meant to be accessible to children young and old, and with varying abilities and disabilities. This means it has a lot of gentle slopes, wide ramps/pathways, a huge variety of swings, and both a large play-scape and a small one for toddlers. Vera LOVED coming here... I'm only sorry that she reached "playground age" so close to the cold weather... we may have to bundle her up like crazy to go back there soon.

"This big-kid playscape might be a little much for me..."

This one was more her size... it had this neat ramp (sort of an alternative to a slide) with big block letters on it, so she could climb up and down it with places to hold on for traction... I think she went up and down about 20 times (and the only thing that stopped her was our backs getting sore!)

Down again!

"What do you mean, you're getting tired?!"

I love you, Daddy!

Having lots of fun:
