Vera's first word

Vera has started saying "more!" She will say it in response to "Do you want more?" But she'll also say it independently, when she's sitting in her high chair and looking at her food on the counter. She basically only says it when she wants food, so we think she thinks it means "I want food." The other day, while playing with toys on the floor, I asked her "Do you want more?" (meaning, do you want mommy to make the toy make more noise), and she looked confused and then looked at the highchair as if to say "um, are we eating now?"

We think she also might be trying to say "cat," (sounds like "aaa-T" with a very loud "T" at the end) but she only does it when we say "cat" (when we're playing with the cats), so she might just be imitating the sound, and not intending any meaning... but that might change, soon!

Here's a video of "more"

You can also see her new favorite silly thing to do, which is breathing out of her nose. For some reason, this is HI-larious to her. She will crack up if anyone breathes out of their nose like that. Go figure. Oh, and by the way, check out her chompers in the new header picture at the top of the blog...

Go Vera! It's amazing how much she looks like both of you.

So cute! I let Iris watch Vera's videos too and everytime it cuts out at the end she squeals "AGAIN!" "AGAIN!" So I guess we need a Vera encore soon :-)

I'm just getting caught up on my blog reading... This is so cute! And Ewan does that EXACT same thing with the nose breathing. What's up with that? Too funny.
