The Bronx Zoo

We went to the Bronx Zoo with my parents over labor day weekend. We all sort of thought that Vera wouldn't really get it, but we figured it would be fun anyway. Turns out, she TOTALLY got it. She was fascinated with all the animals... although she did call them all "cat." She especially loved the monkey house, where she chanted "ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo" constantly. She also got a big kick out of the tiger, which is probably the biggest "cat" she'll ever see. She didn't quite see the point of the sea lions swimming in the water - mostly, she wanted to get in the water, too... that's our water baby! Here are lots of pictures from our day...
