My Great-Uncle Eugene (my maternal grandmother's brother) was recently featured on a podcast from Scientific American. He is one of the founding members of Blue Sky (makers of the "Ice Age" movies) - he designed the physics of their awesome animation renderer. A lot of this podcast is way above my head with discussions of ray tracing, photons and nuclear shielding, but there's some pretty neat stuff in there, too!

In case you were wondering, my uncle is the one with the accent (like you didn't guess that on your own!) He is featured in part I.
